At Legal Way Group, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our client portal.

What is processed

Legal Way Group receives your upload on its servers and uses contracted AI processing services to read and review it. The complete extracted text and the context you provide are sent to those services. For scanned documents, the original pages may also be sent for reading. This can include personal or confidential information. We do not promise that processing stays in Lebanon or on our own infrastructure.

Who can access it

Private storage and our authenticated review service hold your original, extracted text and results. Authorised Legal Way staff can access them to support the service and handle expert requests; staff access is logged. Our providers include Google for AI review and scan reading, Supabase for data and private storage, Vercel for application hosting, Resend for email, and Meta when you choose WhatsApp sign-in. They process the data needed for their services, potentially in other countries. We use paid AI processing arrangements under which review prompts and responses are not used to improve the provider’s products. Provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may apply. We do not promise zero provider retention.

Account and communications

Your reviews are linked to your verified account, including accounts verified through WhatsApp. An email address is used for communications only once verified. Transactional notifications link to the protected service and do not attach your contract. WhatsApp sign-in does not subscribe you to marketing.

Service records and measurement

We keep private service records of visits to the review flow, verified access, uploads, results opened, downloads, expert requests, failures, processing time and provider token usage. These help us operate and improve the service. Measurement records contain controlled event labels and internal identifiers, not document text, filenames, message content or full referral URLs. Pseudonymous visit records expire after 90 days. Security and staff-access audit records expire after one year. Contract pages and signed-in portals do not initialise third-party marketing analytics.

Retention and requests

New free reviews, including originals, extracted text, results and processing diagnostics, are scheduled for removal after 90 days. You can request earlier deletion in the review or contact us for access, correction or withdrawal from future processing. Requests have a seven-day cancellation period and may be held for active expert work, a dispute or a documented record-keeping obligation. An expert request is assessed separately from a free review. Existing reviews without this acceptance are reviewed manually before a retention date is assigned. Account and other matter records are separate. Backup copies follow the storage provider’s recovery cycle and are not removed instantly; restored data must have completed deletions reapplied before service resumes.

We use HTTP-only sign-in cookies, a signed browser identifier lasting one year, and hashed account, browser and network identifiers to secure access and enforce the free allowance. Review-only sessions last up to seven days. Shared devices or networks may share an allowance.

Using it or submitting an enquiry does not itself engage the firm or create a lawyer–client relationship. Representation requires separate confirmation by the team. Do not rely on this tool for a decision, filing, or deadline. For professional advice, contact the Legal Way Group team. Nothing here excludes duties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Keep questions general: no names, contact details, identification numbers, medical details or confidential case facts; chat is not a privileged consultation. Legal Way Group’s AI service providers may process your question, limited recent user-message context and public source material to explain the answer. Exa receives general legal search terms selected by our server, not your raw message or intake fields. Providers may retain and process data under their terms; Exa may use queries to improve its services unless different contractual terms apply. Automated checks do not guarantee anonymity. We do not use visitor conversations or live search results to train our legal library. Intake fields and files are sent to the team only after you confirm the separate form and are not sent to these AI/search providers. Hosting/security providers may process request metadata. Contact the team directly if you prefer not to use AI.

WhatsApp Sign-in

If you choose WhatsApp sign-in, you send a prepared message to Legal Way through WhatsApp. We use the sender information supplied by WhatsApp to connect your WhatsApp account to your Legal Way account and verify your sign-in request. WhatsApp processes that message under its own privacy terms.

We store your account association and a short-lived sign-in request. Your contracts and case documents are not included in the sign-in message. Connecting WhatsApp for sign-in does not subscribe you to marketing messages or automatically enable WhatsApp case updates. You can disconnect this sign-in method in your account security settings once another verified recovery method is available.

Communication and Notifications

We use various communication channels to keep you informed about your legal matters:

WhatsApp notifications for time-sensitive matters and immediate communications
SMS notifications for urgent matters when necessary
Portal notifications within our secure client platform
